About Dr Joanne Quah

Dr Joanne Quah graduated from the prestigious University of Melbourne, in December 2006, and has since aspired to achieve excellence in many aspects of Dentistry.

Adamant to start her career in Singapore, she joined a large dental group where she was placed to work at several different locations, with various mentors of vast experiences. She quickly gained independence as a solo practitioner, while she concurrently signed herself up for courses mainly focusing on orthodontics and implantology.

Orthodontics became her main interest, and thus she pursued it seriously. Dr Quah was an early adopter of the Invisalign clear aligner system, as she received accreditation as a provider in 2009. Simultaneously, she completed a two-year Progressive Orthodontics Seminar (POS) in 2010. Since then, she has attended several International Forums such as 2011 Asia Pacific Invisalign Forum in Thailand, 2012 Invisalign North Asia Summit in Macau, and 2014 Invisalign Asia Pacific Summit in Singapore.

She treats mixed dentition and adult cases using a variety of techniques such as, functional appliances, clear aligners and fixed braces.

Dr Quah believes in a combination of multi-disciplinary treatment for her patients, so she started to combine orthodontics with the use of implants and mini-implants (Temporary Anchorage Devices) which produced excellent end results. She attended the 2nd ITI Education Week-Contemporary Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in 2010, held in Hong Kong. Shortly which, she became a member of the International Team for Implantology.

She attained her Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy from Nanyang Polytechnic in Singapore in 2011. During the course of her studies, she received training for treating adults and children with the Health Promotion Board (HPB). Cecilia is a softie at heart and an avid dog lover. She cherishes her time off work spending time with Ruby, her furry companion.
